Ffin is founded and designed by Anna Lewis. Anna has a successful established career as a jewellery designer, maker, and artist. A designer with twenty years of internationally exhibited work: V&A, Milan Triennale, Tokyo, Schmuck Munich, SOFA Chicago, Elle Décor, The Times Magazine, Selvedge, Crafts. She draws on this design experience and her considered attention to detail on her unique approach to eyewear.
“It feels like a natural progression for me to design eyewear, I am an avid fan and collector of sunglasses, I started to design my own and it expanded rapidly from there. I love the way it feels when you put on great eyewear, it is literally like wearing confidence, then you can take a step out into the world. I want to give that individual confidence to my clients”.
At the soft launch of the brand, Ffin founder Anna Lewis, won Best New Designer and Best Men’s Sunglasses at the Love Eyewear Awards in London. In the latter category, Ffin were shortlisted against eyewear giants such as Eyewear by David Beckham, J. F. Ray and Morel.
A few months later, Ffin were featured on the catwalk at London Fashion Week, where 70’s rock legend Siouxsie Sioux, of Siouxsie and the Banshees, refused to return our ORA frames because she “loves them too much and must have them!”
The full international launch was at the MIDO Eyewear Show in Milan. Following review by a panel of experts, Ffin were invited to show in the MIDO Academy, alongside renowned designers worldwide. The show was a great success and Ffin has built relationships with boutique opticians and stylists globally.
